A.E. Rought
What's great fiction without a healthy dose of reality thrown in? Well, I walk in both worlds. I'm married to a real life sword-swinging, gun-toting hero, and I totally farm our two teens for their wit, wonder and all around fabulousness for my YA stories.
I also write adult fantasy and contemporary romance. You can check out my backlist on my website and follow my randomness on my blog. I'm represented by Gina Panettieri of Talcott Notch Literary Services. And, Gina has FORESIGHT, my first YA urban fantasy novel on submission to publishers.
The writing life is a rollercoaster, the tilt-a-whirl, and bumper cars all rolled into one, and I wouldn't change a minute of it!
J.A. Souders
J.A. Souders was born in the heartland with an overactive imagination and an over abundance of curiosity that was always getting her into trouble. She first began writing at the age of 13, when she moved to Florida and not only befriended the monsters under the bed, but created worlds for them to play together.
Because she never grew up, she decided she’d put her imaginary friends to work and started writing. She still lives in the land of sunshine and palm trees with her husband and their two children and is an active member of the RWA, CFRW, YARWA, SCBWI and the SFWA.
Her debut book, RENEGADE, a YA dystopian thriller that takes place in an underwater utopian society, is surfacing Fall 2012 from Tor Teen/Macmillan.
She is represented by Natalie Lakosil of Bradford Literary Agency. Foreign rights Taryn Fagerness of the Taryn Fagerness Agency. Please feel free to check out her personal blog or website and connect with her on Facebook, or Twitter and of course, you can always email.
Jessie Harrell
Jessie is a wife, mother of two and an appellate attorney. Her novel, DESTINED, debuted Nov. 17th. It is a YA retelling of the Greek myth of Cupid & Psyche. In one sentence:
When Psyche destroys the one relationship she can't live without, she must journey alone through ancient Greece, and confront the goddess who wants her dead, for a chance at reclaiming an immortal love.
I've also co-authored a Greek myth-based paranormal YA novel, BENEATH THE SURFACE, with Nikki Katz. It's currently looking for a home.
Please feel free to check out my personal blog or my website. You can also follow me on twitter, like me on facebook, friend me on goodreads, or you're welcome to send me an e-mail.
Larissa Hardesty
Larissa writes paranormal young adult novels when she's not teaching preschool, conducting for a handbell choir, making scrapbooks, or taking care of her three children.
Her novel That Succs is about a girl who discovers she's not human after a kiss sends her first date to the hospital.
You can follow her personal blog, or on twitter or goodreads, and feel free to send her an email.
Nikki Katz
Nikki is a mom, wife, freelance writer, author, and a rocket scientist (not necessarily in that order!). She is currently looking for representation for her YA science fiction and mythology novels.
Nikki is a member of SCBWI, is on the board of YALitChat, is a member of the Bookanistas review group, and helps out with WriteOnCon.
Feel free to connect with her at her blog, Facebook, Goodreads or on Twitter!
S.A. Larsen
Sheri is a published freelance and short story writer, and kidlit author. She's also a book reviewer for Disney Hyperion, Sourcebooks, Random House Children, other smaller presses, & Indie authors. Being a wife and mother of four is one of her greatest joys.
Her debut YA novel, MARKED BEAUTY, is currently in the hands of a few agents. Jaded by secret talents and unknowingly linked to a hidden world, a sixteen-year-old girl does a bang up job of exposing both when she has a strange encounter with a mysterious boy and learns their meeting was setup by her missing mother.
Working on a YA dystopian paranormal novel, GYPSY DOLLS: Carnival of Souls, a MG Paranormal story, and many picture book ideas is her latest passion. Please feel free to visit Sheri on her website Writers' Ally, Twitter, Facebook, or Goodreads.
