SANCTUARY and ARC giveaway!!

The rabble and rash of the Holidays are upon us. Shopping, decorating, cooking, wrapping, partying... The next month is going to be crazy. It's easy to forget ourselves in this month of giving and thinking of others.

But I say, Nay! Do not neglect yourself, your needs. Find yourself a little Sanctuary.

I know I do. I have a designated Sanctuary... The bathroom.

That's right. the one room you're allowed to spend a little time alone. Who says you need to use the bathroom while you're in there?? My daughter and I share novels, with dueling bookmarks. My husband has hunting magazines. On Thansgiving, I snuck in there, locked the door and read a few pages of THE REPLACEMENT by Brenna Yovanoff. Later that evening, my daughter soaked and read.

So... to give one of our Oasis Seekers a little Santucary, I'm giving away my ARC of HUNTRESS by Malinda Lo.
What do you have to do to win??
COMMENT AND TELL US WHERE YOUR HOLIDAY SANCTUARY IS. will pick a winner and the winner will be posted on the top of Tuesday's blog post. Easy Peasy!

  1. Hmm, I think I'm with you on the bathroom day. It's nice to have a quant little spot where you can just read and give yourself a moment. :)

  2. Yes, my sanctuary is the tub where no one can bother me.

  3. I like the bathroom idea, but I also find peace in my living room. Could be b/c I don't have any kids running around :)

  4. Bathroom has always sounded like a good idea so I tried it for the first time this holiday weekend! IT. WAS. AMAZING. Hot bath, a random cat that can't seem to NOT be in the bathroom when you're in there, and a good book. I could have stayed all night...

  5. I've always loved to sit in a hot bath and read a book. That is one reason why I love real books made of paper and ink. :)

My next favorite place is cuddled in bed (as long as no one bothers me) and read too.

  6. I created my own sanctuary in my study with mood lighting and lots of pictures and hanging things for inspiration. Cant really explain it but I love it:

  7. Mine would be my closet... I have a nice walk in closet with a really good light... I am trying to find a chair that will fit in the corner and a sign to hang on the door that say "if this door is closed..I am reading... Open it at your own risk."

    Thanks for this contest..

  8. My bedroom is probably my holiday sanctuary. Even typing sanctuary I picture Quasimoto. Gosh I'm a dork.

  9. My sanctuary in my bedroom. That's the only place I can be by myself and no one is bothering me.

  10. My bedroom. At night once all the kids are in bed where I can curl up with a good book.

  11. I lived at home for almost 26 years, and my room was always my sanctuary, but now I have my own apartment. It's just me, so as long as I'm there, no one can bother me. I'm kind of a loner, so I enjoy my solitude.

  12. haha, awesome contest! i definitely needed a little sanctuary this Thanksgiving with so much company staying at my house. I retreated to the local Starbucks :)

    Thanks for the contest!
